Today it has exploded on the music scene with household names such as Post Malone, Nelly, 50 Cent, Kanye West, and Eminem. In fact, it has become so popular that it has risen to more than 21% of listener consumption in the US in 2018, and today, it is considered to be the most popular genre in the US.

Here’s a look at the top 7 concerts happening in the US during 2023.

Boogie wit da Hoodie

Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s second studio album, Hoodie SZN, released in 2018, made it to the Billboard 200 and was his first number-one album. In 2020 his third studio album, Artist 2.0, made it to number two on the Billboard 200. He plans to release his fourth album, Me vs. Myself, in December 2022. Ja Rule

With two American Music Awards and four Grammy Awards, Ja Rule has been in the entertainment business since 1999, when his hit single Holla Holla put him on the map. He has released seven studio albums, the last being Pain is Love 2 in 2012. Even though he hasn’t released an album lately, you can still catch him live in 2023 during January, February, March & May. Drake

Drake has been entertaining Hip Hop fans since 2010 and has released seven studio albums, the last being Honestly, Nevermind, which he released in 2022. The Canadian-born Hip Hop artist is rated as the highest-certified digital singles artist in the United States by the RIAA. He has won four Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, two Brit Awards, and three Juno Awards. At this stage, we could only find one live performance scheduled for 2023, which will be at the XS Nightclub in Las Vegas on May 18, 2023. Little Simz

This British singer, actor, and rapper rose to fame by independently releasing her first three albums in 2015, 2016, and 2019. Eight studio albums later, he has also won three Grammy Awards and nine Billboard Music Awards. Ranked as the fourth best-selling rap artist in American music history by the RIAA in 2014, he has sold over 21 million albums in the US. Multi-talented 34-year-old American-born singer Lizzo doesn’t only sing and rap but plays the flute. She started her hip-hop recording career straight after college and signed with Nice Life Recording Company and Atlantic Records. She has released four studio albums and has won three Grammy Awards, a BET Award, two Soul Train Music Awards, and a Billboard Music Award.
